Urban Pagan - Green Witch in the Big City

Basic Info BioI'm new to the Green Witch path and find myself living in the center of Ottawa, the nation's capital. Hence my LJ name. :-)
An eclectic wiccan, and a solitary practitioner(for the most part). I am a son, brother, friend, and lover. My dream is to one day live in a lakeside cottage in the woods. I am currently working on increasing my knowledge of the Green Witch path. I am fortunate enough to have a small group of pagan friends that I can share rituals with. And I look forward to future rituals with these wonderful people. I have completed my Reiki Level Three course and am enjoying what this has brought into my life.
I was an associate editor for Storyteller magazine until it's demise late 2008 but I am an aspiring writer with a few short stories published in magazines and anthologies and am currently working on both short stories and a novel. When time permits.
I love the sound of the wolves howling in the night and was lucky enough to take part in the "Wolf Howl" in Algonquin Park a few years ago. It was an expierience I will never forget. I love it when it rains and hate to be indoors on windy days. I Love thunderstorms, large bodies of water, canoeing, swimming, parachuting, hiking, snowshoeing... heck, anything that gets me outside. My pet peeves would have to be intollerance and dishonesty.
My partner and I are lucky enough to have a nice victorian home(built in 1898) in the city's Centertown neighbourhood with a nice sized backyard. This allows me to have the gardens I need to keep me grounded and connected to Gaia.
